let's get to know each other

Hey! I'm Rebecca

I'm a digital & film photographer living in NYC capturing weddings, couples, and life around me. I have a genuine love for creating images you'll look back on that'll always give you butterflies. I approach photography intentionally, and am emotionally driven behind the camera. I believe there's more to your day than just the posed shots! I love connecting with people, which is part of why I love photography so much.

If you're feeling like this vibe is a fit for you, let's link up and start making magic!

My style is a mixture of classic editorial, and fly-on-the-wall documentation with an artful touch.

I’m all about the best of both worlds: those in-between candids, documenting in the moment -- while also making sure we get some classic shots for your grandparents to frame. Let's tell your story authentically: from the morning excitement and anticipation, to the jaw-dropping portraits, teary eyed vows, and the unreal energy on the dance floor.

I'd love to work with couples whose values align with this approach, and can appreciate photography as an art form. If this sounds like you, let's chat and become friends. I can't wait to meet you and hear your story!

A little about me...

I’ve been taking photos since I was a kid — my first camera was a classic Polaroid that I still bring with me on shoots to this day. I was formally trained on film in a black and white darkroom when I was 14, before learning digital. Professionally, I’ve been a visual storyteller for 10+ years. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology, I began splitting my time between shooting weddings, and being an in-house photographer at MTV, shooting celebrities like Dua Lipa and Samuel L. Jackson. I still shoot entertainment work too!

When I'm not shooting, I'm planning national park road trips, walking around my neighborhood in Astoria, Queens with a latte from Kinship Coffee, or finding analog photo booths in whichever city I'm in. I grew up on Long Island and visit my family and childhood dog, Doris, often. I love aimlessly driving around and making tons of playlists.

Let's tell your story.

All of the personal images I've included below are fleeting moments, but one in particular is of a bus going over Bixby Bridge in California. This bridge is normally very busy, but when I caught a glimpse of this bus, its color palette perfectly matching the landscape, driving over on its own -- it was such a true moment in time that felt full of magic, that can't be replicated.

I want you to look back on images from this time in your life the same way I look back on my own personal photographs. I always aim to create photos you can feel, and it's my mission to take special care with each and every one of my couples to deliver that feeling of your heart fluttering -- the warm feeling that comes over you when you're reliving these moments forever.
